GALA RUSSE 2017

The sixth edition of the Russian Gala capitalizes upon the opening of artistic borders. Together with the brilliant soloists of the Bolshoi and Mikhailovsky theaters, the stars of the English National Ballet, of the Staatsballet Berlin and of other major, world-renowned troupes will perform together on stage. All of these artists who participate in this Gala are united by a positive and respectful attitude towards the traditions of the great Russian choreographic school. This geographic diversity among the participants demonstrates that, today, art knows no borders.

The program will focus on the mix between avant-garde ballets and masterpieces of the classical repertoire. The result will not only be brilliant, but also unexpected: each artists will perform both an excerpt of classical ballet and of a modern choreography, showcasing a full range of expressions and secrets.
